Show Me the Money! Grant Writing Workshop

The Southeast Connection Sport, Culture & Recreation District is excited to host grant writing training! This workshop emphasizes first-hand practical experience aimed to build capacity for individuals and organizations applying for grants. With grants becoming more competitive and difficult to attain, we want communities and groups within our District to gain knowledge on the best ways to get this funding. Participants will be engaged in a real-world scenario of evaluating proposals from the juror’s perspective! Participants will have an opportunity to network with other community leaders.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR Don Stein, Executive Director of the Godfrey Dean Art Gallery in Yorkton, brings over 20 years experience in public program development with extensive knowledge in grant writing and community building. He developed this workshop based on his experience as an adjudicator and grant writer. This workshop is a great development opportunity for sport, culture and recreation organizations.
