The centre
employees a qualified and caring staff with various levels of Early Childhood
Development and first aid certificates who are attentive to children’s
individual needs and ensure personal attention for each child in their
care. Structured routines, and
activities that promote cognitive, social and physical development as well as
activities that encourage creativity, problem-solving and independence are
focused on. Many hours are spent outdoors each day, weather permitting, making
use of the large property and play structures. Nutritious snacks and meals are provided,
and special dietary needs can be accommodated. Encouragement of positive
behaviours are role modeled through guidance rather than punishment.
A strong
connection with the community is encouraged and the facility regularly takes
children on many excursions and community events, as well as many guests visit
the facility and share their knowledge
and fun activities and experiences with the children.
The Carlyle
Cubs Learning Centre mission is to provide the highest quality childcare and education
