The Town Council consists of a mayor and six council members. All council members are elected for a four-year term and must be residents of the Town of Carlyle.

Council meetings are open to the public, but anyone wishing to speak to Council must first make an appointment with the Chief Administrative Officer to be added as a delegation for the next meeting. Upon receiving your request you will then be assigned a time to make your presentation to Council.
Regular Council Meetings are held the first and third Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. unless otherwise notified. Please refer to the calendar below for scheduled meeting dates.
